    Fluor’s Golf for Greenville charity golf tournament raised a record $670,000 for three Upstate charities following the conclusion of the 29th annual event on Monday, May 7, 2018. The tournament was played at four of The Cliffs golf courses – Glassy, Keowee Vineyards, Keowee Falls and Mountain Park – by more than 450 participants.

    The skyline of Freeport, Texas has a new look as Fluor iron workers, riggers and operators recently completed the installation of two major structures at Dow’s new polymers manufacturing unit. Fluor is currently performing mechanical construction on the unit.

    Fluor and its partner, Ponticelli, will provide information to local suppliers on wide-ranging opportunities to support Uganda’s oil and gas industry at workshops being held in February 2018 in both Kampala and upcountry in Uganda.

    The Fluor-led joint venture, Tappan Zee Constructors, LLC., comprised of Fluor, American Bridge, Granite and Traylor Brothers, has begun dismantling the deck spans of the Tappan Zee Bridge connecting Rockland and Westchester counties over the Hudson River in New York.  Before its retirement this past October, the bridge carried more than 140,000 vehicles annually during its peak.
