Fluor Engenharia e Projetos, LTDA, is a wholly-owned Fluor subsidiary, and is the new name of Fluor’s Brazilian entity. The subsidiary was formerly called CFPS Engenharia e Projetos. Fluor provides engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and maintenance solutions to capital projects across industry sectors in Brazil.

“Fluor’s brand is recognized as an innovative, capital-efficient project execution company across the globe,” said Andrés Beran, vice president of sales for Latin America. “We are combining this industry-leading expertise with CFPS’s local presence and experience in order to serve the Brazilian market.”

Since its formation in 2012, CFPS delivered more than 80 projects that range from conceptual studies to engineering, procurement and construction.

Fluor has also appointed Rodrigo Moralez as its Brazil operations director. Moralez brings more than 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry in Brazil and has worked for a number of local and international firms.

“I am pleased to welcome Rodrigo Moralez to the Fluor family in Brazil,” said Dan Spinks, vice president responsible for Brazil operations. “He brings an unmatched understanding of the Brazilian capital projects market and will greatly assist our efforts in continuing to bring Fluor’s proven world-class project expertise to Brazil.”
