The contract value to Fluor was not disclosed and was booked in the company's second quarter. The three-year contract includes a three-year extension option.

The Monadelphous Broadspectrum Fluor joint venture will provide maintenance services support at Olympic Dam, including planning, execution and supervision of maintenance work orders and management of contracted services.

"WMC at Olympic Dam Operations expects that the joint venture will participate in and, where necessary, lead the way in the application of continuous improvement, particularly in the areas of health, environment, safety and community as well as maintenance practices. We are also looking forward to being able to tap into the joint venture's knowledge and experience network.
