Connect 202 Partners Awarded for Its Commitment to Diversity
For the second consecutive year, Connect 202 Partners (C202P), the Fluor-led company that is building the South Mountain Freeway in Phoenix, was named as part of the esteemed Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (MDCE) at the 7th Annual Business Diversity Summit hosted by the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Minority Business Development Center.
The Arizona MDCE recognizes businesses that lead the way in supplier diversity in the state of Arizona by spending more than $1 million (Tier 1) annually with Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBE).
A Tier 1 supplier provides goods and services directly to a company. C202P’s Tier 1 spend with WMBE totaled more than $16.9 million between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2017.
Fluor’s total U.S. diversity spend for industrial, infrastructure and power business lines during 2017 was $96 million, and the total diversity spend for the U.S. across all business lines was $337.5 million.
