Fluor has appointed Leonardo (Leo) Kaid as President of its Advanced Technologies & Life Sciences (ATLS) business line.
Kaid, a 28-year Fluor employee, most recently served as Group Business Development and Strategy Lead for Fluor’s Urban Solutions business segment, which includes ATLS, Infrastructure, Mining & Metals, and Plant & Facility Services. He previously held the role of General Manager of Fluor’s Mining & Metals North America unit. In that role, Kaid was responsible for the Vancouver office, which achieved substantial growth and improved financial performance under his leadership, while delivering complex projects and strengthening long-term client relationships.
“Leo is a proven operational and strategic leader with a strong track record of delivering sustained growth,” said Tony Morgan, Fluor’s Business Group President of Urban Solutions. “Having worked together over many years, I’ve seen his ability to drive performance, build strong client relationships and lead complex projects. I’m confident he will do an outstanding job growing the ATLS business.”
Kaid has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the Universidad de Santiago de Chile.
Steve Hopkins will succeed Kaid as Group Business Development and Strategy Lead for Urban Solutions.
