Fluor Daniel's PharmBio & Chemicals operating company has appointed
Claude Burgess as director of Business Development.
"Claude's background in process engineering and project management on
pharmaceutical and biotech projects, coupled with his work with alliance
partners, gives him a firm grasp of our clients'business, technical and
project needs," said Joe Kennedy, vice president of Business Development
for the PharmBio & Chemicals operating company. "We expect Claude to
make a significant contribution to our strategic initiatives related to
business development."
Based in Greenville, S.C., Burgess will be responsible for
business-related activities with several key accounts, interfacing with
operating company project execution and process technology resources. He
has more than 13 years of business development, project and design
experience, and most recently participated in Fluor Daniel's Marketing
Associates Program--a year-long, intensive business development-focused
program. He earned a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from
North Carolina State University and a master's degree in Business
Management from Purdue University.
